Chapter XIII of the Act Respecting Elections and Referendums in Municipalities applies automatically to all municipalities with 5,000 inhabitants or more. Below you will find certain key dates regarding the municipal elections scheduled on November 1st, 2009.

| January 30, 2010 | Last day to submit return of election expenses for an authorized political party and the report and return of an authorized independent candidate (sections 484 & 492) |
